Consistent performer Nick Batt took line honours in the ‘A’ grade at Cuddon Cycling Marlborough’s Summernite Series, Cycle World Graded Race No3 at Fairhall last Wednesday evening.
The small ‘A’ grade field covered 4 laps (42km) of the Benmorven circuit and finished with two climbs at the Ridge Resort. Batt went away on the hill finish 13 seconds ahead of Jeremy McKenzie with Gerard van Antwerpen afurther 38 seconds back in third place.
The ‘B grade 33km 3 lap event saw the field split in the latter stages with Dylan Vile taking the win by 10 seconds from Ethan Batt with another 13 seconds back to Kevin Bishell in third place.
Christopher Grammer notched up his third consecutive win in the ‘C’ grade 33km event in a tight finish with Ethan Brydon and Luc Cowie.
The small ‘D’ grade field raced over 2 laps (22km) with Ezra Wells claiming the win by 15 seconds to Shaun Woods with Sam Spencer another 45 seconds back in third place.
