Dunstan Speeds To Another Record

Ray Dunstan kept his winning form and rode to another new record in Cuddon Cycling Marlborough’s Summernite Series, Cycle world time trial No3, at Fairhall last Wednesday evening.
Cool and damp conditions didn’t deter Dunstan as he sped over the 15.2km New Renwick Road/Godfreys Road course to record 20m 14s to better his previous Masters 50-54 years record set just 3 weeks ago by another 6 seconds. Jeremy McKenzie (21m 34s) and Gerard van Antwerpen (22m 20s) took the minor placings respectively. Some quicker than usual times saw the handicap win go to Martin Fletcher by 18 seconds to Brent Ackroyd with just another 4 seconds to Craig Murphy in third place.
