The open grade 40km event follows a rolling course from Grove Mill Winery to just beyond Craiglochart and return. Ray Dunstan will be favorite to win the Vincent Cup with his consistent form in the Cycle World summer series. His main competition will come from other time trial rivals Conway Taylor and Josh Scott. The top three should record a times of around 56-58 minutes. Interest will also be
focussed on the performances of Tony Catterick and Brodie Catterick if they makean appearance, especiallyafter their strong showing in last weeks Funnell Trophy road race. Other solid performances around the hour mark are likely to come from Gerard van Antwerpen, Jeremy McKenzie and Andrew Jamieson. The Verhey Cup will go to the best performance on handicap.
The junior under 17 grade will compete in a 20km time trial to just past the Spy Base and return. Callum Saunders will be favoured for time over Will Hart, Nick Blakiston and Quinn Karwowski..
All riders are to assemble opposite the Grove Mill Winery in Waihopai Road at 1pm for a 1.30pm
