Cuddon Cycling Marlborough will open its winter road season with group handicap events from Forrest Estate Winery at Renwick tomorrow afternoon.
The open grade 32km event for the Vincent Shield will cover 4 laps of the Condors Bend/Renwick circuit taking in Condors Bend Road, Bedford Road, SH63, Anglesea Street, Boyce Street and SH6. The usual fast circuit will likely see scratchmarkers Tony Catterick and Gerard van Antwerpen amongst the favorites for time honours.
The junior under 17 grade will cover 2 laps (16km) of the open course for the Opening Day Cup. Alot of interest will be focused on the new riders in this grade.
All riders are to assemble at Forrest Estate Winery at 1pm for a 1.30pm start.
