Handicaps Tighten

Cuddon Cycling Marlborough’s riders will compete in handicap events at Fairhall tomorrow afternoon.
The open grade 45km event will start and finish at Fairhall hall taking in 3 laps of the large Hawkesbury circuit. Handicaps continue to tighten up as good teamwork from the middle markers over the last two weeks have seen them produce winning results over the back markers. Scratch markers Tony Catterick, Andrew Jamieson, Gerard van Antwerpen, Andrew Curnow, Ethan Roach, Chris Heywood, Ray Dunstan and Conway Taylor will have a good battle for time honours. A number of riders will be using the event as final preparation for the National road championships in Hawkes Bay next week.
The junior under 17 grade will compete in a 22km handicap event over one lap of the Hawkesbury circuit.
All riders are to assemble at Fairhall Hall at 1pm for a 1.30pm start.
